Rumours of a Smiths reunion refuse to die, but these new iTunes releases may be the best anyone is going to get, with the Johnny Marr urging fans to quit hoping for the band to reform.
"Fans hope there will be some big happy ending. The fact it, there is a happy ending – I’m happy," Marr told NPR in 2013. "It’s all cool. It’s slightly difficult when people assume that your life will be complete, or everybody’s life will be complete, if this band from 25 years ago reforms."
"Life doesn’t need that to happen to be okay."
