Singer, songwriter, poet, inspiration to the world of folk - Simone Felice is many things to many fans and critics around the world. Check out the premiere of brand new track 'Running Through My Head' below.
A founding member of The Felice Brothers and The Duke And The Kings, Simone has toured and worked with the likes of Mumford & Sons, Conor Oberst & Bright Eyes, Gillian Welch, The Lumineers, Rick Rubin and countless others - picking up legions of hardcore fans with his heartfelt folk throughout the years.
In 2010, he underwent emergency open-heart surgery to correct the slow degenerative effects of childhood fever. His new album, Strangers, touches upon his brush with death and unveils a rare gifted skills as a solo artist.
"Hopefully I'm not unique in the feeling that sometimes I don't belong," said Simone about 'Running Through My Head'. "To a certain crowd, the beautiful people, the V.I.Ps. But then when I least expect, a stranger comes along with an open door, open arms, a laugh and a touch. I heard somebody say once that the only thing that could ruin a perfect spring day was people - except for those very few people who are like spring itself. This song is about such a one..."
