Disco legend and Daft Punk collaborator Giorgio Moroder is rumoured to be working with Lana Del Rey on new album, Ultra Violence, among other current production projects.
Since his appearance on 2013's Random Access Memories album, Moroder has seen a huge career revival, making the 73-year-old more in demand than he has been in decades. Now, in a new interview with Digital Spy, Moroder was quizzed about rumours of a collaboration on Lana Del Rey's second album. He skirted around the answer, but his answer seemed to suggest that it may be on the cards.
"I don't know? Did you read something about that? Well... I have a few singers I'm planning to work with," he tells the website.
Discussing his interest in more modern pop stars, Moroder shared praised for some of today's biggest female singers, adding: "Oh there are so many right now that I love. I love Lady Gaga, Rihanna - all the pop girls like Katy Perry.
"I think Miley Cyrus is very talented too. Apart from the visuals, which you may like or not like, but her music is quite good actually."
