A Detroit chef has decided to combine his love of food with his passion for Radiohead, by creating a 10-course meal inspired entirely by the band's Kid A album.
The meal takes place on Wednesday 19 Feburary, and matches a dish to each song from the album. The opening track 'Everything In Its Right Place' has been paired with a meal of scallops, yuzu fluid gel, fried cellophane noodles, lemongrass punzu and chilli oil... which is a bit of an obvious choice, but at least he's trying.

The event will be hosted at Detroit's Elizabeth Theatre, and advance tickets are being sold for $125 a head.
Kyle Hanley, the chef hosting the Kid A meal, told The Huffington Post that he hears "textures and colours" in music. "Especially Radiohead," he added, "they are very textural. They are a very visceral band." And apparently a very edible band.
Hanley has also said that if the event is a success, he and his business partner might consider turning the event into a monthly series inspired by a different album each month. Might we suggest "Ultimate Spinach" night?
