As well as a series of performances from the likes of Pharrell and Kendrick Lamar, there was also er, actual baskeball games at the NBA All-Star Game Weekend - and rappers Drake and Wale took part. Check out footage below.

Well, sort of - Wale did indeed play in the Celebrity All-Star Game, whilst Drake just assisted a dunk for Terrence Ross, who plays for Toronto Rappers - the team Drake is a global ambassador for.

The old cliche 'stick to the day job' has never rung truer, as Wale played pretty terribly (alongside the likes of Snoop Dogg and Nick Cannon) whilst Drake looks fairly nervous and even appears to gulp as he waits for Ross to swipe the ball out of his hand.

Meanwhile, Drake is still feeling the heat from his recent controversial comments regarding Rolling Stone, which published quotes from the rapper in which he criticised Kanye West's Yeezus. Drake then denied the quotes were true and slammed the publication for replacing him with recently deceased actor Philip Seymour Hoffman on the cover - a move which offended many. The rapper has since apologised for his remarks.
