Miley Cyrus' management team have reportedly been flooded with complaints and calls for the singer's raunchy Bangerz tour to be cancelled - with arenas even threatening to pull out of the show.
Images of the tour, which kicked off in Vancouver February 14, have surfaced online, and shows Cyrus twerking, humping, straddling a hot dog, pretending to give oral sex to a Bill Clinton lookalike, and even miming pleasuring herself - all in eye-wateringly skimpy outfits.
Whilst this is nothing new to those of us who haven't been living in a cave for the past year, apparently parents of Miley fans who have taken their children to see the Bangerz tour are shocked by the explicit content of the shows.
According to US website TheFix, Cyrus' management have been inundated with complaints from furious parents - even calling for the tour to be cancelled. A source says: "Miley’s management have been flooded with complaints, mainly from parents, since her tour began last week in Canada with calls for the entire tour to be axed.
"Her team, including management, record label execs and the entire tour staff including the director, costume department and choreographers - have been called for an emergency meeting as arenas across the US threaten to pull out of the show.
"The problem is Miley loves to shock so she decided to take it to the extreme for her Bangerz tour but this time she may have taken it too far," they continued.
The source also claimed one parent contacted Miley's label, Interscope, and told them they had walked out of the concert early, refusing to subject their nine-year-old to a "porn show".
Miley's management team are now reportedly working on an emergency plan to tone down the Bangerz tour. By the time it gets to the UK in May, it'll be about as raunchy and controversial as a Saturdays concert. (It probably won't.)
