There's no question about it, London trio Years & Years are one of the best new bands of 2014, effortlessly blending r&b and dance influences in their sound, as already heard on singles 'Real' and 'Traps'.
Now, the three piece have exclusively premiered their brand new track, 'Eyes Shut' on Gigwise, and it's every inch as brilliant as their previous releases.
'Eyes Shut' demonstrates the band's talent for slowed down, introspective tunes as well as dancefloor orientated singles, but at the same time comes packed with an utterly irresistable hookline and some seriously soulful vocals from frontman Olly Alexander.
In short, what follows is amazing.
