The BRIT Awards will be held tonight, at London's O2, celebrating 12 months of huge success for the UK music industry, and beyond.
Confirmed performers at the event are Bastille, Arctic Monkeys, Lorde, Disclosure, Rudimental, Bruno Mars and Bastille - with some seriously strong rumours that Beyonce will also be joining the line-up for a special performance at the show. Sources claim the US superstar has been spotted rehearsing at London's O2 Arena today (19 February 2014) ahead of tonight's event.
Organisers of the show have promised an improved experience from the 2013 event, when the show lacked any big performances from superstars of note, with BRITs chairman Christian Tattersfield telling The Guardian: "Last year could have been better... we lacked superstars... so that took a bit of the edge off."
He also adds that he hopes the 2014 BRIT Awards will be "an important event of gravitas, rather than just a shoddy knees-up."
The BRIT Awards will be broadcast live(ish) on ITV tonight, 19 February from 8pm. The full list of nominees is:
