AM by Arctic Monkeys has been named the Best British Album at the 2014 BRIT Awards.

Presented by Emeli Sande, a previous winner of the BRIT Awards Critics Choice award, this is the third time the band have taken the most coveted award of the annual ceremony.
Taking to the stage, following their earlier win for Best British Band, Alex Turner once again took the microphone to thank the BRITs. Sort of...
"Thank you. That rock and roll eh? That rock and roll it just won't go away. It might hibernate from time to time, sink back into the swamp," said Turner in his acceptance speech.
"I think the cyclical nature of the universe, demands it adheres to some of its rules, but it's always waiting around the corner to make its way back through he sludge and smash through the glass ceiling better than ever.
"That rock and roll. It seems like its fading away sometimes, but it will never die. Thank you very f... much for this."
