Last night (February 21), Beyonce kicked off her European tour at Glasgow's The Hydro.
The star performed tracks from her recent self-titled album, which she released unannounced in December 2013, were given their first live airings, although fan favourites such as 'Single Ladies' and 'Crazy in Love' still remain on the setlist.
Queen Bey kicked off proceedings with two tracks from her self-titled album - 'Haunted' and 'Ghost' - as well as 'Blow', 'Partition' and '***Flawless', before launching into the likes of 'If I Were A Boy', 'Get Me Bodied' and, of course, 'Drunk In Love'. Bey then wrapped things up with two emotional ballads: 'Halo' and 'Heaven'.
The show has met with 5-star reviews, with The Telegraph praising her "talent, charisma, a staggering work ethic and, yep, awe-inspiring thighs."
The Independent praises her power on stage, saying: "Knowles is a model of power and control throughout, even when her muse extends to writhing atop a grand piano or grinding through the disco-soaked majesty of Blow."
The Mirror compared Beyonce's show to Miley Cyrus' attention-grabbing Bangerz tour, writing: "There is no frantic Miley-style twerking or Rihanna crotch-grabbing here, Beyonce effortlessly oozes sex appeal and even manages to make dutty-wining looks classy."
