Prince performed a second show in Manchester last night to an audience of 2,000, but according to the Purple One himself, he was denied the chance to perform in front of millions at The Brits.
The crowd included those who had bought tickets for Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL's "second show" on Friday night (21 February), after the second show failed to take place, with fans only being allowed in for the encore. Most of the rest comprised those who had bought tickets online in advance - a slight break from tradition for Prince's recent stint of 'Hit and Run' gigs.

According to a review from The Liverpool Echo, Prince pleaded with fans to turn off their phones, before roaring, "The Brits wouldn't let us play so we're gonna show you what they missed."
Prince presented the award for Best British Female at this year's Brits, where he said: "London I want to thank you for making us feel so extra loved here", before host James Corden thrust himself upon him for a selfie.

Prince performed a three hour set at Manchester's Academy 1 last night (22 February), and treated the crowd to five encores. We suspect their Brits performance might have overrun somewhat.
