23 February, 2014: Jake Bugg's UK tour continued last night, as the Nottingham star performed a sold-out show at The Manchester Ritz. See exclusive shots from the gig here.
The rising star performed tracks from both his debut album, and his 2013 release, Shangri La, including recent releases 'Slumville Sunrise' and 'What Doesn't Kill You'. He closed the show with his calling-card track 'Lightning Bolt' however, bringing the show to a close with one of the biggest indie anthems of recent times. See his full setlist below.
Jake Bugg has recently revealed how he was surprised to be called the 'voice of a generation', insisting he was nothing of the sort, and was more 'shy' than people might imagine.
"Somebody asked me if I was the voice of a generation recently. I was just, like... 'What? Me? Why?" He said in an interview with The Independent.
"I'm shy. I don't think people get that," he added. "Perhaps I'm not, but no one's perfect, are they?"
At his Manchester Ritz gig, Bugg performed:
