Green Day have announced that they'll be releasing 18 unheard rarities and demos for fans as part of this year's Record Store Day.
The band, who are currently rounding off their current promo campaign with a tour of Australia, took to Facebook to reveal that tracks from their Unos, Dos, Tre album sessions will be released in a variety of formats in April:
Green Day is a frequent contributor to Record Store Day. Back in 2009, the band reissued their Dookie on vinyl, while in 2011 they recorded a cover of Hüsker Dü's 1986 song 'Don't Want to Know if You Are Lonely' for the flipside of a "side-by-side" 7-inch when in 2012 they offered a test pressing of Uno to the campaign.
Record Store Day will take place worldwide on Saturday 19 April, for the benefit and celebration of indepedent record shops.

Last year, Green Day revealed that they will take a ‘break’ after their Australian tour dates which are taking place now through until March. However, the band’s frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has reassured fans that a break is by no means the end of Green Day.
Speaking to BBC Radio 2, Armstrong said: "We're going to Australia, doing a tour there and then we're going to take a break.
“We haven't really been doing much. So it's just nice to kind of do some other things, y'know, when we get ready to do Green Day again, our batteries will be charged."
