James Murphy and LCD Soundsystem have announced that their final farewell gig will be released specially for Record Store Day 2014, on 5 LPs.
The vinyl release, that incoporates 5 LPs, compilates their comprehensive goodbye to the world of music, from their farewell show, which took place in 2011. It was also the subject for the much praised film Shut Up and Play the Hits which chronicled the gig and the aftermath through the eyes of James Murphy.
Entitled The Long Goodbye, the collection is mixed and mastered by James Murphy and features four hours of unabridged goodness, including 'Daft Punk are Playing at my House', 'Dance Yrself Clean', 45:33 Intro, featuring Reggie Watts and many more.

The gargantuan collection is due for release on 19 April to coincide with record store day, with the vinyl box set landing with retailers on 19 May. The Long Goodbye will also be released digitally.
