Bookies have stopped taking bets on whether Kasabian will headline Glastonbury, suggesting a deal has been done for the band to take the top spot at the festival.
After a hugely successful career, it appears the band will finally be taking the headline slot at the iconic British festival. The odds first took a dive before all bets were suspended at 1pm today (27 February), implying that there is no longer any question as to Kasabian's chances.
Favourites to headline this years festival include a series of high profile acts like David Bowie, Prince, Noel Gallagher and Daft Punk. Whoever takes the much sought after place will be joining already confirmed indie giants Arcade Fire. "It seems that all Kasabian need to do is sign on the dotted line and they will be playing one of the most iconic sets in the world," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.

Meanwhile Glastonbury festival boss Emily Eavis has confirmed yet another big name for this summer's event, revealing that Disclosure will also be playing. Speaking at last night's NME Awards, where she and father and fellow Glasto organiser Michael picked up the award for Best Festival, Emily said that the dance duo would be playing a 'big' slot down at Worthy Farm this June.
"We're sitting with Disclosure and we can say that they'll be back, which is brilliant for us because they had an amazing year last year and they are one of the greatest British acts at the moment," Emily told NME. "So that's exciting too, so you can see them in a big slot. Somewhere."
