Drenge have revealed that they would love to make an appearance to play Download festival this year.
The noise-rock Derbyshire duo were speaking to Gigwise ahead of their appearance at the BBC 6 Music Festival yesterday (Friday 28 February), when they opened up about their touring plans for summer 2014.
Eoin Loveless said: "I've seen Download written in our diary and I really want to do it because I think it will be awesome. The industry is so messed up, no one's going to buy a ticket just because we're playing but I'd love to."
He added: "Most people at those sort of festivals just sit in the camping area, get in a row and just run in a straight line through tents for as long as possible. The wall of shame, but I am really looking forward to it."
Drenge's management since contacted Gigwise to inform us that the band have not in fact been booked to play Download, but they would really like to.
We think Drenge are brilliant, so they would make an ace addition to Download.

Drenge would potentially be joining headliners Linkin Park, Aerosmith and Avenged Sevenfold at the legendary Donington Park, alongside the likes of Fall Out Boy, Rob Zombie, Alter Bridge, The Offspring, Steel Panther, Status Quo and many more.
