Lily Allen has revealed her fears that Kanye West may take offence at her new album, Sheezus, named after his own 2013 Yeezus collection.
Allen has insisted that her album title is a 'tribute' to the rapper, but has spoken of fears that the 'Bound 2' star may not see the funny side. In an interview with Australian radio station, Nova, she admitted she is 'terrified' he will see the album title as an insult.
"It's totally not a diss," she said. "I love Kanye, I think he's brilliant," adding that she was a fan of his work, "whether what he's saying is ridiculous or not."

Since revealing her album title, Allen has spent a lot of time explaining her thought process behind the Sheezus title. Perhaps 'self-titled' would have made for an easier ride.
"It’s a confident title choice – and a little nod to Kanye West," in a recent interview with Graham Norton.
She also took to Twitter to make it clear that she isn't making jokes at the expense of West. ‘It’s an homage, not a p*** take. #SHEEZUS,’ she wrote, perhaps in effort to silence the many critics of an album title that sounds like it was meant to be a joke.
