The band joined Karen O, Ezra Koenig, Pharrell Williams and Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez's 'Let it Go', on the nominees list but lost out on the award to 'Let it Go' from the movie Frozen.
Performances on the night also included 'Happy' taken from Despicable Me 2 and 'Moon Song' performed as a medley by O and Koenig, taken from the movie 'Her'.
