Bastille have revealed details of a possible change of sound on their forthcoming second album, the follow up to debut Bad Blood - including a collaboration with rapper Angel Haze.

Speaking to the Daily Star, frontman Dan Smith said the band were recording with Haze, who is currently supporting them on tour. "We are touring with Angel Haze and we have recorded some stuff together too," Smith said. "Maybe it's not the most obvious fit, but she's an intelligent rapper with insightful lyrics."

The band, who hit the big time with their 2013 smash 'Pompeii', have reportedly recorded a new song called 'Weapons' and Smith teased the band are going in a slightly different direction to their debut Bad Blood.

"The second album will be much clearer as to what our influences are," Smith revealed. "It's more drastically all over the place, in a good way. I still sneak off and sing into my phone but we are writing more collaboratively at soundchecks too this time."

Fan footage of one collaboration, 'Weapon' has emerged online. Watch below.

Bastille's Bad Blood took the No. 1 spot on the album chart this weekend, following their win for British Breakthrough Act the BRIT Awards on February 19. The band also performed a mash-up of 'Pompeii' and Rudimental's 'Waiting All Night' with the Hackney electronic group and vocalist Ella Eyre.
