Kanye West and Jay Z have taken their relationship to the next level, moving from the studio and stage into the board room, with the two joining forces on a new business venture.
West's DONDA agency was originally set up in 2011 with the aim of aiding creative ventures in the worlds of film, fashion, music, artwork and endeavour. They already designed the Watch the Throne cover, marketed Yeezus and produced the unreleased Cruel Summer film.
In 2012 West explained on Twitter that the aim of DONDA was to become a "trillion-dollar-company". He said it is to ”to dream of, create, advertise and produce products driven equally by emotional want and utilitarian need.. To marry our wants and needs."
