The follow up to 2006's 10,000 Days has been a long time coming with the band's particularly arduous and meticulous recording procedure holding up the release. According to singer Maynard James Keenan, in an interview with Rolling Stone, the reason is that the band tend to go through tracks hundreds of times before they are locked down.
Now, despite speculation that the album wasn't yet ready, guitarist Adam Jones has confirmed that the album is now "100%" finished and will be released later in the year. The news comes via Crave who claim that Jones told the information to a fan at a V.I.P. meet and greet in Portland.
