The Kaiser Chiefs have spoken out about the chances of the band working with frontman Ricky Wilson's fellow judges on BBC's The Voice.
Speaking to Gigwise, the band said that they doubted the chances of them being compatible to work with Kylie Minogue, Will.i.am or Sir Tom Jones - but wouldn't rule out the possibility should the opporunity come about.
"I respect them all greatly, but we don't even like covers," said Wilson. "We've never been able to do them which is a shame because every fucking radio station asks you to do a cover of some shite. We have enough problems working with each other and we all work now because we're doing what we do best. I'm not going to rule anything out."
He continued: "If we're at the same festival and I can get Tom pissed enough then I'd love to. I like them all and we do get on. I don't see why it wouldn't happen, but it's just that I'm too into this record to worry about the next 'promotional tool'. I think people are fed up of that 'featuring' thing anyway."
Bassist Simon Rix added: "If Will.i.am wants the multi-tracks he can have them, if Kylie or Tom Jones want to sing on something then they can do it. It's fine by me but we're not pushing for it."
