Fans of Reading and Leeds Festivals have been waiting patiently for the third headliner since Arctic Monkeys were announced alongside Blink 182 last month. It's now been confirmed that festival-goers can expect not one, but two more headliners at this year's event.
The festivals made the announcement on their Facebook page, with a picture of four playing cards. Three of the cards feature Kings, whilst one features a Queen. Perhaps this means they're going to break from depressing tradition and make one of the remaining headliners a woman.
The next major announcement is scheduled to take place on Monday (10 March), and organiser Melvin Benn has told NME that this year's line-up is "unlike anything we've done before."
He added: "I think it will surprise a lot of people. As ever for us, the line-up's a mix of where popular and alternative music has been, where it is now and where it's going next, across a real spread of genres."
As well as headliners Arctic Monkeys and Blink 182, other bands already confirmed for the festival include The 1975, Warpaint, Jake Bugg, Disclosure and Metronomy.
