Arcade Fire performed a series of covers at a Minnesota gig on Saturday (8 March), including Prince's 80s hit 'Controversy'.

The gig, which was recorded for a local radio station, saw the band go all out with their performance. Interspersed throughout the set-list were segments of Lady Gaga's 'Do What U Want' and Guns 'N Roses' 'Sweet Child of Mine'. The only track that was covered in full was Prince's iconic 'Controversy' track.

Performing the song with LCD boxes on their heads, the band certainly looked the part, with images of Prince at first flashing across the screens. They also took a dig at controversial Minnesota politician Michele Bachman as the image shown on the box changed to a picture of her face.
