Fox News host Bill O'Reilly has put his crazy two cents in again, this time weighing in on the matter of Beyonce's racy video for 'Partition'. Unsurprisingly, he's not praising it as an empowering celebration of female sexuality - he's suggesting it will cause "unwanted pregnancies". Oh. Okay.
The conservative-leaning political commentator is not a huge fan of hip hop (he recently called Jay Z and Kanye West "gangster rappers" who are a "negative influence on children". We're guessing he hasn't heard Chief Keef yet, then) and now Queen Bey is in his er, firing line. Specifically, the sexy video for 'Partition'.
Whilst interviewing Def Jam co-founder Russell Simmons about his new book, O'Reilly decided to deviate from the matter at hand because he just couldn't get the video for 'Partition' out of his head.
"She puts out a new album with a video that glorifies having sex in the back of a limousine," he hissed. "Teenage girls look up to Beyonce, particularly girls of color... Why on Earth would this woman do that? Why would she do it when she knows the devastation that unwanted pregnancies... and fractured families - why would Beyoncé do that?" Why indeed, Bill.

Russell then tried to get the interview back on track - he has a book to promote, y'know - but O'Reilly just refused to let the matter drop. "I believe an entertainer like Beyoncé and a mogul like you have an obligation to protect children, not put out exploitive garbage that you know harms impressionable children," O'Reilly said. "I think Beyonce, what she has done here, is inexplicable and I'm asking you, Russell Simmons, to explain it to me."
Poor old Simmons then defended the 'Partition' video as "art", but guess what? O'Reilly wasn't having any of that, either. "That's art?! Beyonce having sex in the back of a limo and referencing Monica Lewinsky, that's art?" he squawked.
Hmm. We bet O'Reilly has the 'Partition' video bookmarked. Or possibly even set as his homepage.
