Adam Lambert is set to join Queen for their North American tour, which kicks off in June. Tickets go on sale Friday March 14.
The legendary band and American Idol alum made the announcement on March 6. Lambert, who has been performing on and off with Queen as lead vocalist since 2009, will be playing 19 dates with the band throughout June and July, stopping in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and more.
"To get to be onstage with these two rock royalty members...honestly, Queen is the quintessential rock band of all time...they’ve influenced bands for years," Lambert said on Good Morning America, where he appeared with original Queen members Roger Taylor and Brian May.

The tour kicks off June 19 in Chicago, and plays stops in Vancouver, Dallas, Philadelphia, Washington and Montreal as well as the aforementioned. The shows wrap up July 20 in Washington. See the full list of dates below.
