Morrissey is preparing to reissue his 1994 album Vauxhall And I, in celebration of its 20th anniversary.

The album was Morrissey's fourth solo offering after the split of The Smiths in 1987. It reached No.1 in the UK albums chart, and reached the top 20 in the US. 'The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get', the fifth track on the album, became Morrissey's first hit single in the US.

According to Morrissey's fan site 'True To You', the album will be reissued on 2 June, and has been remastered by Bill Inglot, who's responsible for remastering acts such as The Bee Gees, Aretha Franklin and Otis Redding.

The singer is also expected to release his tenth studio album, World Peace Is None Of Your Business, this summer. The album has 12 tracks so far, and was recorded in France with producer Joe Chiccarelli.

Morrissey announced two major US arena shows recently, with support from Tom Jones and Cliff Richard. Yes, you read that right. Morrissey has said that he's "honoured and thrilled" to have Jones and Richard supporting, even though the latter threatened to eat a chicken curry after the show.
