Lana Del Rey's major label debut album Born To Die has now passed the 1million sales mark in the United States.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, the critically-acclaimed album, released by Polydor/Interscope Records on 31 January in 2012, sold another 5,000 copies in the week ending 23 March 2014 - bringing total sales to 1,001,000 million.
The recent surge in sales comes from hype around her upcoming new album Ultraviolence, as well as well as recent radio support for single 'Summertime Sadness' and the Cedric Gervais remix of said track.
