Avicii had to cancel a gig at the Miami Hotel yesterday (27 March) after he was rushed to hospital.
The EDM superstar was performing at what would have been the second in his five date residency at the hotel. However, according to TMZ the news that he wouldn't be performing and had been taken to hospital was broken to the crowd by Australian DJ's Cazette.
Later in the evening he left the hospital, however there is no confirmation as to why he was taken there in the first place. However tonight (28 March), he is due to headline Miami's Ultra Music festival, one of the biggest dance events on the planet.

Meanwhile, The Little Mermaid is set for an EDM makeover, with a host of the world's biggest EDM stars including Avicii set to work on a new remix collection of Disney songs, the company has confirmed.
The company made the announcement on Instagram, with a distinctly un-Disney trailer featuring some ear-splitting dance beats. Artists confirmed to be reworking from Disney films include Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, BT, Avicii, Mat Zo, Stonebridge, UNKLE, The Japanese Popstars, Yogi, Shy Kidx, Trion, Shinichi Osawa, Alfred Montejano and Kinsey Moore.
