Brody Dalle will be performing an in-store session at London's Rough Trade East next month, the day before the official release of her debut solo album.

The singer, who is also known as the lead singer and guitarist of punk rock band The Distillers, as well as alternative rock band Spinnerette, will be performing in-store on 27 April.

Her debut solo album, Diploid Love, is released the following day, but fans in attendance at her Rough Trade performance will be able to get their hands on it a day early.

The singer co-produced the album with Alain Johannes (who has also worked with Arctic Monkeys and Them Crooked Vultures) in his studio, and in the studio she shares with husband Josh Homme.

Rough Trade was founded in Ladbroke Grove in 1976, and has since expanded to include two more shops in London and one in New York City. The shop's founder, Geoff Travis, also founded the independent label Rough Trade Records.

Wristbands for Dalle's in-store session will be sold on the door, and the singer is also set to embark on a UK tour in April. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
