Lily Allen has once again slammed her record company, voicing her frustration at the 'beige' direction of her musical comeback so far.
The 'Air Balloon' star was speaking at London's Vogue Festival, where TV3.ie report that she claimed to be 'fucking frustrated' at the direction of her comeback, adding that her label Wanrers had been in control of what the public had heard so far.
"I experience it at the moment re-entering the music industry," she said. "What you have heard on the radio station so far, the contribution of my album is very much the more beige, saccharine elements to what I have made.
''The reason for that is because the people in control of the radio stations, the people that are in control of the record companies, are too scared to put themselves on the line in case someone gets offended.
She continued: ''If I said to my record company I really want to go with this song, they would say, 'Sure, here is £5 for the video'."

Earlier in March, Allen again made an unusual admission on Twitter - agreeing with a critic who said her new songs were 'rubbish' and 'disappointing'.
The admission came after a fan tweeted that he found Allen's new material to be far below satisfactory, feeling instead like it was a simple cash grab. Choosing to respond she agreed with the fan and chose to point the finger instead at Warner, who she claims are holding back the best material from Sheezus and radio stations who refuse to play it.

So far Allen has released four tracks from Sheezus: 'Hard Out Here', 'Air Balloon', as well as 'L8 CMMR' and new single 'Our Time'.
