Jack White has announced details of his new solo album, Lazaretto - as well as unveiling a new track. Listen to 'High Ball Stepper'.
The White Stripes, Ractonteurs and Dead Weather turned solo star will release the follow-up to the critically-acclaimed No.1 album Blunderbuss on 9 June.
'High Ball Stepper', the first taster from Lazaretto, is another larger-than-life slice of fierce blues rock - an instrumental driven by a crunchy but volatile riff and howling backing. It's pretty mean.

The album will be released via XL and White's own Third Man Records. With White being somewhat of an old-school vinyl nerd, it will come out on split-color blue-and-white vinyl and coupled with exclusive album art.
A spokesman added: "This alternate presentation of the album is both insightful and deserving. Also exclusive to the Vault is a fold-out poster accompanying the album, featuring a classic National Archives photo that serves as a recurrent image throughout the album art."
The deluxe Vault Package comes with loads of other stuff too. Check them out below. For more information visit here.
So there you go, Jack White is back - now all we need is a tour. Maybe he'll play Glastonbury? Dolly Parton is there, and it would be sweet for them to duet on 'Jolene'. Then again, maybe he won't.
