More about: Muse
Muse have been forced to cancel a show in Sao Paulo, Brazil today (Thursday 3 April, 2014) due to illness.
The gig was a sideshow for their upcoming headline slot at Lollapalooza Brazil this weekend, but now the band have issued a statement on their official website claiming that illness has taken its toll, but they still hope to play the festival:
"TO OUR FANS IN BRAZIL,
"IT IS WITH GREAT SADNESS THAT WE HAVE TO CANCEL THE SHOW TOMORROW (THURSDAY 3rd APRIL) AT GRAND METROPOLE HERE IN SAO PAULO DUE TO ILLNESS.
"IT IS OUR HOPE THAT WITH THE ADDITIONAL REST, WE WILL BE ABLE TO ASSURE THE LOLLAPALOOZA SHOW ON SATURDAY GOES AHEAD AS PLANNED.
"THE TICKET HOLDERS FOR THIS CANCELLED SHOW CAN REFER TO THE DETAILS BELOW.
"WITH REGRET,
"MATT. DOM. CHRIS"
Lollapolooza in Brazil would be one of the few live appearances that the band are making in 2014 - as well as a headline slot at Coachella among others.
