Janelle Monae and M.I.A. performed together as holograms for a live rendition of 'Bad Girls'. Watch it below.
The track, which is taken from M.I.A.'s new album Matangi, was performed in two separate venues on opposing coasts of America - by both the artists. However the twist was that they were beamed into each other's respective performance as holograms, similar to the Tupac perforance witnessed at Coachella only live.

The live performance, which is the first of its kind, took place as part of a concert in aid the Audi A3 launch. Ever the cheeky one M.I.A. changed the lyrics of the track to: “I’m knockin’ on the door of your Audi, Audi/Yeah, I’m knockin’ on the doors of your Audi, Audi.” Perhaps this is the rapper working off the $17 million NFL lawsuit for flipping the bird during the Super Bowl.
