In a twist on the traditional tale of a relationship turned sour or a bitter break-up, Bright Light Bright Light's new single 'I Wish We Were Leaving' documents regret at a friendship with the potential to be much more, but which failed to live up to hopes and expectations. A soaring electronic ballad, the single is the first to be released from Welsh-born, New York-based singer songwriter Rod Thomas's new EP, and is out now.
The original version of the track is a duet with none other than Elton John, who was sadly busy elsewhere when we caught up with BLx2 for an exclusive performance of the track at London's Vibe Bar. The EP is available to buy now, with an album set to follow later in 2014.
