5 April 2014 marked the 20th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's tragic suicide, with tributes having poured in from the music world, including covers from the likes of St. Vincent and Muse to mark the loss of one of music's ultimate icons.
During a recent visit to London, Icelandic star Ásgeir performed an exclusive rendition of 'Heart Shaped Box' for Gigwise at Brick Lane's Vibe Bar. Asgeir's cover version brings out the beauty of the track's melody and focuses on the raw power of Cobain's lyrics.
