A woman has been charged £2600 for downloading a Neil Diamond album whilst on holiday in South Africa.
Katie Bryan downloaded the 300MB album, which took 20 minutes to transfer to her iPhone via iTunes - and it ended up costing an eye-watering £8 per megabyte. Ouch.
The reason for the staggeringly high cost of the download? Bryan had used up her allocated foreign allowance for that month, which Orange say they had warned her about, before kindly agreeing to reduce the bill to £400.
"It was stupid, yes. I didn't really realise how big an album was in megabytes and what it was costing," Bryan told BBC Radio 5 Live.
She's apparently happy with the outcome, but that's still a very expensive Neil Diamond album - which in case you were wondering, was The Best Of Neil Diamond.
