Kanye West and Common have teamed up in aid of Chacago's youth, aiming to create 20,000 jobs for the city's unemployed.
The rap duo will see their respective charities - Donda's House Inc. and the Common Ground Foundation - campaigning to help the city's unemployed. They will be working with the Chicago Urban League, which is an organisation focused on building strong African American communities.
Common has revealed that Chicago has a huge unemployment problem centred around the city's youth. He has stated that he aims to provide the funds and support necessary to give a chance to this neglected section of society, in order to prevent them from turning to a life of crime.

Of the project Common said: "Obviously, one of the biggest reasons our kids are going through what they're going through is because of poverty. I was doing an event in the neighbourhood and there were some kids... and I said, 'Man, what do y'all really need? What's gonna stop this (poverty)?' And they were like, 'We need money. Man, if we could work.' They want a chance."
At the same time the rapper duo will curate a music festival in Chicago in order to raise money for the cause. The first event will take place from 20-21 September.
