Jay Z's annual Made In America festival is set to expand this year, with events taking place in Los Angeles as well as Philadelphia.
The rapper's event, which launched in 2012, has been held solely in Philadelphia since its inception. Now, for the first time, a simultaneous event will take place in Los Angeles.
Speaking at a press conference in LA yesterday (April 16) the New York rapper and entrepreneur expressed his delight at the festival's expansion. "Two years ago, this was a dream," he said. "I had a vision of putting together a festival that blurred those lines of genres."

Made In America will take place in Los Angeles on the Labour Day Weekend in August, with some 50,000 people expecting to attend. However, the announcement has prompted some objections and concerns for LA politicians due to potential street closures.
Last year's Made In America saw the likes of Beyonce, Deadmau5, A$AP Rocky, Haim, Calvin Harris and Queens of the Stone Age perform.
