It's the day before their London gig and The Orwells' singer Marco Cuomo and guitarist Matt 'O Keefe are sat in our local boozer, The Fox, enjoying a pint. At the end of the interview the subject turns to the now imminent Record Store Day and how the art of vinyl has had such an influence on the band, their sound and love of music.
With a band as aware and knowledgable of their heritage, they have a lot to say on the matter. The comparison to Keefe is the difference between "playing a football video game to going out to a field and kicking around a ball" or watching a movie in the cinema or on Netflix.
