After recently dissing Bruce Springsteen and sharing her views on Lady Gaga, rock heroine Courtney Love has now taken a slight dig at Queens Of The Stone Age.
In a recent interview with The Quietus, the grunge icon was discussing the rumoured Hole reunion, when she said that things weren't working out because it was heading in a QOTSA direction.
"Well, you sit and you write like, Queens Of The Stone Age drudge for a month, and it’s just not happening, and it’s not happening," she said. "Not that Queens Of The Stone Age suck, but people expect a lot more from me. Josh Homme can play like, four notes on his bass and people take off their tops, but I have a higher bar for whatever reason. It has to be just fucking really really good."
Love has already made waves this month after slamming The Boss Springsteen for putting saxophones into rock n' roll, as well as saying that her friends' influence on Lady Gaga had a negative impact on ARTPOP.
Courtney Love will be returning to the UK for a headline tour next month. Full dates are below. For more information visit Gigwise gig tickets.
