While this weekend's Record Store Day was once again another successful opportunity for music lovers to celebrate independent music shops and the vinyl format, it was also a shameful cash-in for eBay vultures.
As per usual, within hours of record stores opening to queuing hordes of hardcore music fans to get their hands on a batch of exclusive and collectable one-off releases, the most in-demand RSD vinyls were on eBay for extortionate prices.
While we're sure that many more far more depressingly expensive auctions will appear and bids will increase, Stereogum reported a pretty shocking list of te most expensive RSD price-hikes on eBay:
10. Fear Of Men - Loom - $199 - auction
09. Various Artists - The Folk Box 50th Anniversary - $199 - auction
08. Pixies - Indie Cindy - $199 - auction
