The former Blur star releases his first 'official' solo album next week, but is currently streaming in full on iTunes. The album includes the tracks 'Everyday Robots', 'Lonely Press Play', 'Hollow Ponds' and 'Heavy Seas Of Love'.
Albarn has caused controversy in recent weeks, after claiming that he found taking heroin a 'creative' experience, and later clarified his statements in a subsequent interview.
"I don't totally see it as a mistake. That's the point. It was part of me growing up. Look, I didn't go out and look for it," he said speaking to Time Out. "I turned up at my house and there it was, made on the table. What should I have done? Leave my life and reject it or stay in my own house with my girlfriend and somehow assimilate it into my life?"
Albarn and new band The Heavy Seas will be playing dates around Europe throughout the summer, including a headline slot at Latitude Festival. His UK tour dates are below. For more information visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
