The Libertines have announced they will be performing a headline set at British Summertime Hyde Park on July 5.
Following hints from both Pete Doherty and Carl Barat that they'd be reforming for a live show in the past week, the band have now confirmed they will reunite to play their biggest ever UK show at the London event.
Preceding The Libertines on the main stage will be sets from the likes of The Pogues, Spiritualized, Maximo Park, Wolf Alice, and Swim Deep.
There'll also be appearances from The Enemy, Reverend and the Makers, I Am Kloot, The Twang, Darlia, Cuckoolander, The View, Brownbear, Raglans and The Rifles.
The news comes following Pete Doherty's admission he had accepted an offer for The Libertines to play a big reunion show at Hyde Park. Carl Barat then told fans to "keep July 5 free." Seems they made good on their promise.
The Libertines will perform at British Summertime Hyde Park on Saturday July 5. Tickets go on sale Friday May 2 at 9am. For more information and tickets, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
