In news that surprised precisely nobody, The Libertines confirmed today that, yes, they will performing at British Summertime Hyde Park on July 5, thank you very much.

It will be Pete, Carl, Gary and John's first live show in 4 years (their last reunion was in 2010, and saw the band perform sets at Reading and Leeds festivals) and there's a slew of questionable British indie bands all beginning with 'The' supporting them. But never mind, The Libertines are back! Hopefully they'll be good, ey? Here's what everyone had to say.

Aw, come on guys, don't be such spoilsports! They're definitely, 100% in it for the music. And the fans. Always the fans.
