Damon Albarn makes his long-awaited debut as a 'proper' solo artist this week, with the release of his new album, Everyday Robots. Listen in full below.
The Blur frontman released a collection of solo compositions in 2013, his soundtrack to the Dr Dee opera, which included solo tracks, but Everyday Robots is the first complete solo record of his career.
The album contains collaborations with Brian Eno and Natasha Khan (better known as Bat For Lashes), and includes the singles 'Everyday Robots', 'Lonely Press Play', 'Hollow Ponds' and 'Heavy Seas Of Love'. It is set to score Albarn a Top Ten hit on the UK charts, having already hit No.3 in the new iTunes chart.
