In the latest of a long line of controversial Twitter rants, Wiley has seemingly accused Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis of racism.

The ever outspoken rapper made the comments on the social network, where he compared Eavis to Donald Sterling - the shamed American businessman and owner of basketball team the Los Angeles Clippers currently embroiled in a racism scandal.

Wiley posted:

He then went on to retweet comments from followers who agreed with him, before making poking holes in Glastonbury's charitable nature:

It seems an odd outburst, especially given Eavis' open view on the acts performing, recently giving headline slots to the likes of Jay Z and Beyonce, with hip hop, jazz and African music represented throughout the line-up.

Wiley's Twitter rants have become legendary in recent months. Highlights include calling his former protege Dizzee Rascal a "robot" and complaining about having to appear at numerous festivals in 2013 - including, most notoriously, Glastonbury, during which he live-Tweeted his attempts to pull out of his slot, even calling on organiser Michael Eavis to end his plight.

Glastonbury festival takes place at Worthy Farm in Somerset from Wednesday 25 to Sunday 29 June, 2014.

Below: Who could it be? The 'biggest-selling bands' that could headline Saturday at Glastonbury

  • Coldplay: Undoubtedly one of the most successful acts on the planet right now and with no UK festivals announced around their upcoming new album, Ghost Stories, could we see Chris Martin and co return? They've headlined three times before with the last only in 2011, so they're practically the Glasto house band. Is it a bit too safe and predictable though?

  • Daft Punk: Random Access Memories was one of the biggest selling and most dominant albums in recent memory. Could we 'Get Lucky' and see the dance duo come out of live retirement and bring a lot of disco awesomeness and special guests to Worthy Farm?

  • Radiohead: One of the most influential, seminal and successful UK bands of all time, Thom Yorke and co are well overdue a return to headlining Glasto, after last doing so in 2003 before a run of surprise secret sets. Plus, there are those rumours about the connection between the Glastonbury poster and their King Of Limbs artwork, so who knows?

  • Kings Of Leon: They're flipping massive, and just happen to be touring the UK and Europe around Glasto time...

  • The Killers: They're doing a victory lap around the world the push their Direct Hits best of album, with shows announced at V Festival and such. Could they return to top their 2007 Glasto headline slot?

  • Foo Fighters: One of the biggest names in rock, yet they've never headlined Glasto. With a new album due soon and soon UK shows announced, could that all be about to change?
