London band The Horrors, Swedish electropop group Little Dragon and US soul star Aloe Blacc are among the artists performing on tonight's (6 May 2014) Later... With Jools Holland.
The fourth episode of the 44th series will showcase a typically diverse and impressive array of modern and classic artists, with Afghan Whigs, Sturgil Simpson and Roger Cicero also joining the BBC music show. Later... With Jools Holland will be broadcast tonight at 10pm on BBC2.
The Horrors return this week with their brand new album, Luminous, which has been critically applauded in the weeks leading up to its release. Speaking to Gigwise about the album and the reception in the music press, frontman Faris spoke of the band's continual development and evolution. "I think we develop because the whole essence of the band is about the desire to learn, improve, experiment and discover things. I think that's what we find exciting about making music," he told us.
"That's what we enjoy about it, so, naturally we'll be experimenting with new techniques and new kinds of songs with each record. That's what makes it fun."

Meanwhile, Little Dragon follow up their recent singles 'Klapp Klapp' and 'Paris' with new album Nabuma Rubberband, which is released on 12 May 2014. It is a stunning collection of credible, alternative electronic pop music and the band's most accomplished collection to date.
Having thrived on the outskirts of the mainstream with their previous three albums, Nabuma Rubberband seems set to bring the four-piece some long-deserved exposure away from the underground.
