French musican Clarens is the latest star to team up with super-producer Yuksek for a release through his Partyfine label, and his single 'Trust' is a stunning slice of downbeat electronica. Listen below.
Citing influences in Blood Orange, Kindness and Clams Casino, the similarities are clear, with serene vocals blending seamlessly with fractured beats and a flirtation with gospel sounds. 'Trust' is subtle and soulful introduction to a hugely promising new artist.

The track is taken from Yuksek's upcoming Partyfine Volume 1 compilation album, which features contributions from the likes of Juveniles, Oh Land, Black Yaya and even Pins drummer, Sophie Galpin, who contributes vocals to Peter & The Magician track, 'On My Brain.
