After spending his 25th birthday in prison, Chris Brown has been sentenced to an additional 131 days in jail for violating his probation.
Brown was on probation for the assault of his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 when he got into a fight in Washington D.C. last year.
The musician was then ordered to attend a rehab centre, to receive treatment for bipolar disorder and substance addiction, but was forced to leave after making comments regarding his skills with guns and knives that caused concern. He was subsequently incarcerated.
Despite the sentencing, Brown's official Twitter account has made no mention of his imprisonment, instead continuing to promote his music.

Brown has been in prison since March, and has now been sentenced to 365 days in prison - with the judge giving him credit for 234 days he has already served in both prison and rehab.
Despite the sentence, Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, is still hopeful that the singer could get an early release.
